Bay Area Cheerleading Tryouts aka Placements Enroll Today

16 Aug

MOVING ON UP! *CHEER PLACEMENTS HAPPENING NOW*

We are excited when athletes are able to move up through hard work and dedication. Today we move two of our athletes who was determined to make a higher level team. Coming in nearly everyday to train and hit all their skills, you have shown to be a champion at heart.

But moving up a level leaves a space open on our entry level team. SOOOOOO…That means TRYOUTS will open up once again!

2 SPACES have opened up for our NO EXPERIENCE required team. Contact Director Dre at cheer@rawtalents.org or 510-992-6811. Schedule your placement today!

The team is looking for 1 Strong Base and 1 Flyer.

Come see why our dedicated athletes experience rapid growth. See why our Small Division Program has taking titles against large programs and teams twice our size.

We don’t claim to be perfect, we have our high’s and our low’s. But, we have big high’s (like taking 1st place at Nationals hosted by USA Varsity Jamsport and more) when ALL Athletes are focused, dedicated, hardworking, make practices, stretch daily and focus on being the best they can be on the mats. That is the formula for #success

Bay Area Competitive Cheer Brings Home Another Title

22 Apr

Last week, we were feeling a little down. Even though we had just come off a big win at Nationals after going against some of the West Coast top teams, we were a little down because sometimes it can be hard being a small gym in a world of mega gyms. Then a fellow coach and friend of over 18 years said something to a few of us coaches.

“Being a small gym is tough, you don’t have all the bells and whistles of the mega programs. Sometimes you can’t do certain stunts because you don’t have 20 people on the mats at a time but remember this – What does it take for a gym of 400 kids to put together a couple of amazing teams? Nothing, when you have 400 kids you can move people up, down, put them in the back and even cut them and it doesn’t really affect anyone. But small programs, you have to really train each and every athlete. You have to make every athlete a star and push them to their full potential. There is no hiding someone in the back, there is no room not to train each and every athlete. For a small team to win at any National level is a big deal because you have to be far more creative and hardworking to be up there with the mega programs. The value of a small program is so much bigger, the athletes gain so much in the sport and spirit of the sport. The value small gyms have to offer is priceless”

This gave us a lift, a lift we needed to gear up for another great competition. Thank you Kris for being a great leader and friend in the world of competitive cheer and dance.

Right after this conversation, we picked up our heads, hit the mats harder than ever and our Sr. 4.2 team brought home OVERALL Grand Champion.

This is a major win since Overall Grand Champion took all the Allstars Programs scores against each other and gave the award to the top placing team. We couldn’t be more proud of our Sr. 4.2, they had their struggles and throughout the season we had adjustments to the team that had to be made for the success of the program. We ended the season with exactly everyone the team needed and with this positive hard working group of athletes – we sealed the season with a OVERALL GRAND CHAMPION WIN!
